BALLISTIC BLANKET
Available Options
The ballistic blanket provides flexible multipurpose protection. It can be used by de-mining units as a bomb suppression blanket, airport personnel in the fight against terrorists, cover windows and doors.
The blankets are available in sizes on request and protection levels NIJ IIA, II, and IIIA.
Standard Protection Level: V50, 17 grain fragment, 475m/sec (1560 ft/sec)

SOFT ARMOUR
National Institute of Justice (NIJ) Standard 0101.04 is the internationally accepted standard for Bullet Resistant Vests. The Standard has 4 levels applicable to soft armour as shown in the table below.
Maximum trauma allowed is 44mm, to be measured on the first strike only. The Shot pattern for handgun ammunition requires all shots to be at least 7.6cm from any edge and at least 5cm from each other. |
